Premiere: Bad Ambulance – Trick

Following up J Campbell’s ‘Erosion Of Memory‘ LP last month, Melbourne-based label and distribution agency Nice Music return with ‘Intel 95′’ EP from Australian producer Bad Ambulance.

An ode to the timeless sound of Chicago’s footwork, ‘Intel 95’’ delivers a collection of boundary-pushing juke tracks broadcasted from nefarious high-rises. Throughout the release, Bad Ambulance weaves deconstructed breaks, interplanetary Braindance, UK bass and spine-chilling experimental electronics.

Our pick is ‘Trick‘. From the start it gives off the thrills of a corrupted siren alarm heavily accompanied by an arsenal of fireball 4/4 kick-drums and dismantled percussions. This is a 160 BPM adrenaline rush designed for IDM disciples rubbing shoulders with DJ Rashad’s lineage.

‘051 ‘Intel 95’’ EP is scheduled for release 22th May via Nice Music. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
