Succeeding the release from the German trio Teichmann+Soehne in October 2023, Lepizig-based record label Altin Village & Mine line up the long length effort ‘V.A.‘ – courtesy of German post-dub trio Cloud Management.
After previous appearances on Hamburg-based label Bureau B, Dispari and Infuso Giallo’s imprint Kame House Records under different monikers, the three sidekicks Thomas Korf, Sebastian Kokus and Ulf Schütte hop aboard this anthropoid experience with the likes of Kenyan misfit Coco Em, iconic psychedelic vocalist Aaron Coyes – better known as Peaking Lights, digital dub wizard No UFO and Berceuse Heroique’s affiliate Seekers International.
Our pick from the release is ‘0rten Pitch‘ – thanks to its hazed-out fantasy entangled with space-echoed rub-a-dub, psych-kraut vocals and quintessential dub chords. In the end, Aaron Coyes delivers a special post-punk tip: be grateful for your entourage and set aside your master plan.
