Premiere: Comechelet x ϙue – Rendez-vous

French record label re.core are set to unveil their seventh release, ‘TIME’, a collaborative album from production duo Comechelet x ϙue.

Known for carving out the darkest and most visceral corners of Ukrainian breakcore, Comechelet takes a bold turn, joining forces with ϙue to explore the more delicate, intangible realms of human fragility. Across 10-tracks, ‘TIME’ plunges into baltic, atmospheric depths, fusing cerebral melancholy with dark ambient and drone.

Our pick  ‘Rendez-vous’ ensnares listeners from the start, uncovering layers of dense, storm-driven drones, intricately woven with a polyphony of dark ambient textures, gradually drawing the listener into a disorienting soundscape. There’s an organic fluidity to the track, as if the sounds are living entities – morphing and shifting whilst maintaining a subtle palpable tension. It inhabits a liminal space, creating a mesmerising ebb and flow between realms, lost in a sea of ubiquity.

‘TIME’ LP is scheduled for release on 1st December via re.core. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
