Premiere: /DL/MS/ – Regressive Behaviour

Colombian imprint Furatena return with ‘AX-V1‘, a razor-sharp various artists dispatch aimed straight at the post-industrial underbelly of the club.

Gathering a handpicked crew of producers navigating the fault lines between electro and sci-fi, this four-track compilation reads like a transmission from the future – oil-slick breaks, steely hardware, and smoke-choked ambience. Among the contributors: label regular Binary Algorithms, Madrid-based modular tactician Robert Cosmic, Vienna-based production duo /DL/MS/, alongside jadzia and Saigg, a mainstay of the GNC’s imprint.

Our pick lands on /DL/MS/’s ‘Regressive Behaviour’, a piece of sonic brinkmanship clocking in at a neurotic 146 BPM. The track kicks off like an alarm from another planet, a strobe-lit march of arpeggiated distress signals and saturated low-end mechanics. FX-smeared synths squeal through the mix like panic-stricken comms in deep space, while its haunted textures hang like ozone in a malfunctioning cryochamber.

‘AX-V1’ is scheduled for release on 9th May via Furatena Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
