Consisting of seven tracks, ‘Almost Home‘ is a deeply personal affair, exploring a myriad of heartfelt emotions linked to childhood dislocations, communicated through the solace of music production.
Our pick from the release is ‘Sand‘ – thanks to its clouds of melancholia blurring the lines between trip-hop and deep house. With its ultra-syncopated oscillations, LFO-soaked rhythms and woozy snares, ‘Sand‘ sounds like a comforting hypnosis delving into the unfathomable chasm of the unconscious.
