Premiere: Hieroglyphic Being – Diacaustic

With their third release, Ghent-based imprint VIERNULVIER prepare to release the nine-track ‘Quadric Surfaces‘ LP – courtesy of Chicago sound visionary Jamal Moss, better known as Hieroglyphic Being.

Having gorged on anthropology books at Northwestern University and traded mixtapes in shady corners during his life experience, Hieroglyphic Being returns to post-Nubian cyberspaces to score abstract animation films ‘Parallel Spheres‘ and ‘Figures In Mynd‘ directed by Gabriela González Rondon with a sonic collection of sci-fi techno and kosmische psychedelia.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Diacaustic‘ – a blaze of fire in the eye of heaven shaped with UFO frequencies infused with high-spirited arpeggios. This experimental prophecy states that corrosion-ridden technology will soon be redeemed by ambidextrous creatures.

‘Quadric Surfaces’ is scheduled for release on 16th February via VIERNULVIER Records. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
