Premiere: Imager – Untitled

Toronto-based producer Evan Jamal Vincent, who records as Emissive and is a part of Active Surplus, sets his sights on highlighting his home city and the stunning underground techno sounds produced there.

The endeavour, earthNetwork, is poised to unveil its inaugural release in June named ‘ENRG001′. Vincent worked with a different Toronto producer on each track, putting together a cohesive slice of psychedelic electronica that’s mind altering and hypnotic with its deep grooves.

For our premiere, we focus on Imager‘s “Untitled“, a collaboration with producer Kieran Adams (aka Vibrant Matter) – featuring flittering beats that resemble aural strobe lights, “Untitled” fuses glitch and tech house for a thrilling journey.

The rhythms and keyboard tones convey a paranoid, twitchy vibe, which fits the mood of our most uncertain political and environmental times. Tune into “Untitled” ahead of the album’s release for a prime taste of the sounds bubbling out of Ontario.

‘ENRG001’ is scheduled for release on 4th June via earthNetwork. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
