Premiere: Jordan Dessar – Back In The Day (Stones Taro Remix)

Following releases from Danish producer DJ Sports and Dr Banana’s affiliate ZeroFG, French imprint 3 Feet Deep Records – Aurore 404’s sub label – prepare to release ‘Nostalgic‘ EP, courtesy of London-based late-night marauder Jordan Dessar.

After previous appearances on his own imprint Equal People and Indulgent Records, Jordan Dessar line up a blasting revival of 90’s UK Garage sounds. Spread across 5 tracks, ‘Nostalgic‘ oscillates between MPC-infused shuffling breakbeats, voluptuary vocals and wobbling bassline.

Today, we shine a light on ‘Back In The Day’ reinterpreted by Kyoto-based producer Stones Taro – thanks to his jungle-heavy cascade entangled with full-bodied bassline and chopped-up vocals. The UKG phenomenon delivers a peak-time adventure for all the ones missing the dancefloor euphoria.

‘Nostalgic’ is scheduled for release on 27th October via 3 Feet Deep Records. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
