Premiere: KafkaCtrl – It Escaped

Almost four years after launching their imprint, Madrid-based label Distrito 91 prepare to release ‘The Lost Intruder‘ EP, brought to you by puzzling French sound provider KafkaCtrl.

In the footsteps of his previous releases on Glasgow-based imprint Artificial Horizon, Vortex Traks, ZEMENT and Hilltown Disco, ‘The Lost Intruder‘ dives deeper into a hybrid of Drexciya-esque electro delirium, nail-biting drone, and iron-fisted breakbeats.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘It Escaped‘ – a tenebrous maelstrom of mind-warping oscillations, electro rhythms infused with swirls of dark disco grooves, daunting synthesizers and furious kettle frequencies. Awakening us to the chaos of the future with its ultra-altered rhythms, KafkaCtrl recounts his fireball getaway on Kepler-442b.

‘The Lost Intruder’ EP is scheduled for release 4th March via Distrito 91. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
