Premiere: Nickon Faith – Blue Spider Lily

Following a series of top-notch output from a slew of local artists, London-based imprint Manual Smiles kick-start 2024 with the three-track ‘Digital Moss’ EP – courtesy of Manchester-based producer Nickon Faith.

After several appearances on German imprint Vision 3, Sonidos Distintos and Troubleshoot, Nickon Faith lines up two original cuts, rounded off with one remix conducted by London-based producer FROND. The three tracks on ‘Digital Moss‘ clump together a fusion of ethereal techno, dumbfounded acid and steady states of trance psychedelia interlaced with a fair amount of epicurean whispers.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Blue Spider Lily‘ – a set of cutting-edge trance dance specially crafted for Demon Slayer enthusiasts. Bare-knuckle kickdrum tactics, celestial flutes, arcade game arpeggios and acid oscillations make this the ultimate call for harvesting twilight medicine in the virgin timberlands.
