Premiere: Kaltès & Nene H. – Persist

Facing a force of nature can be alarming, discerning and even invigorating depending on where it chooses to formulate. In this case, it’s a sound system near you courtesy of Berlin-based talents Kaltès and Nene H. who have been making their mark on the scene with their creation (Nene’s “Fountain of Fire” live performance at Berlin Atonal) and curation (Káltes organizes the female:pressure series at Tresor).

With their latest extended player ‘Protest‘, on Eomac’s Eotrax imprint, the duo deliver a release that evokes a primal urgency to act upon its message. “Persist” is one such track that lets out a scream that shakes you to your core. Direct and demonstrative this track is pure dance floor catharsis.

Protest EP is out now, order a copy from Juno.
