Milan-based record label Vitamina present their fifth release from Berlin-based producer KUO. ‘El Beat: Remixes’ assembles a solid roster of producers, each contributing their take on machine-driven techno infused with dark disco sensibilities and synthesised trance elements.
Our pick from the release is Astroloop‘s remix – a relentless onslaught of pulsating rhythms cutting through a thick haze of cyber-inspired trance and acid-infused basslines, crafting a transcendent peak-time anthem. The track escalates into a euphoric frenzy of syncopated vocals, industrial drum patterns seamlessly transition into a poignant Spanish soliloquy, striking a balance between perplexing and emotionally resonant.
