Following releases from Japanese producer Yosuke Tokunaga, Coeden or xpedient, Amsterdam-based record label Entangled Visions line up their eighth release ‘Cordyceps‘, courtesy of Italian producer Modes.
After previous appearances on Donato Dozzy and Neel imprint Spazio Disponibile and XCPT – Modes delivers an experimental 10′-inch vinyl release ‘Cordyceps‘, a deep dive into sub aquarian techno, dubbed-out haze and cryptic experimental.
Our pick from the release is ‘02122020 B’ – a serene glide through deep waters surrounded by an array of cetaceans. As well as translating semaphore signals into dub with FX-drenched depths, Modes also carry through ambient landscapes throughout this ear bath.
