Manchester-based imprint Resonance Spectrum kick off its release schedule with ‘Love Colours’ from label boss and producer Nickon Faith.
Known for deep-diving chromatic dreamstates via Manchester-based imprint Salford City, Manual Smiles and Stripped recordings, Nickon returns with a three-track EP that ventures through uncanny solar systems – rounded off by a spectral remix from Lisene, one-half of Leeds-based astral voyagers Space Cadets. ‘Love Colours‘ is a masterclass in sci-fi trance, where psyched-out, soft-focus club anthems collide with high-octane techno trajectories.
Standout track, ‘Inner Thoughts’, unfolds like a disembodied pulse beamed in from a chrome-washed tomorrow. With stomping kick-drums slicing through a constellation of fractal arpeggios, the track pulls the listener into a state of synthesised transcendence. It feels like a stream of encrypted data, transmitting subconscious algorithms across the shared frequency of the dancefloor.
