Premiere: Porosty – Pies

Following up ‘Violent Vision‘ EP from Italian producer Religius Order, Frankfurt-based Smashing Tape Records prepare to unleash ‘Dungeon Crawler‘ from Polish artist Porosty.

In spite of the curses of modernity, Porosty joins the resistance from a long-forgotten village near the holy city of Częstochowa in Poland. Following a slew of releases on labels including Brutaż, Kikimora Tapes and Transatlantyk, Porosty continues to push himself as one of the most notorious producers in Poland.

Interweaving steampunk noise, industrial EBM, and dystopian new wave, ‘Dungeon Crawler‘ EP delivers six shades of darkness born from coal-faced mortals. Our pick is the opening track ‘Pies‘. Kicking off with post-punk arpeggios, the track blends industrial synths with dungeon-like FX textures.

‘Dungeon Crawler’ EP is scheduled for release on 14th June via Smashing Tape. Order a cassette copy from Bandcamp.
