Premiere: Procombo – Dogu (Steve Rachmad Remix)

RX Istanbul is a popular club located in the heart of Turkey’s capital city. To get a feel for the kind of music favoured by the club and its residents, their in-house label is a pretty good place to start. RX Recordings’ seventh release comes from label boss, Procombo and is accompanied by remixes from Steve Rachmad and Elad Magdasi.

Dogu’ is Procombo’s second release on the label and follows an EP of stripped-back tracks for Tronic Music. In addition to running RX Recordings, the DJ and producer is also one of the founders of the festival Big Burn Istanbul.

Our pick from the release is ‘Dogu (Steve Rachmad Remix)’. The Dutch legend, also known as Sterac, delivers a sleek reduction of the original, also introducing urgent hi-hats into the mix. This one’s primed from peak time usage by an artist who’s an expert at crafting these kinds of tracks.

‘Dogu’ is scheduled for release 23 August via RX Recordings. Order a copy via Beatport.
