Premiere: Pura Pura – Hadale Zone

Succeeding Nikki Nair’s remix from Hassan Abou Alam’s track ‘Ice‘ in October 2023, Paris-based imprint Nehza kick off the year with a collaborative debut EP from Montpellier-based producers Gipsyan and Pura Pura.

After many appearances on Handle The Sound, afro-lusophone bass imprint XXIII and Toulouse-based riddim provider Egregore Collective among others, ‘Nocto Vea‘  features a dewy-eyed patchwork of cyberpunk bass, trance-infused eurodance, murky dubstep and celestial breaks.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Hadale Zone‘ – a ruthless fireball that will tear down all man-made beauty standards. At its beginning, the track creates a post-oriental vision of a high-spirited ambient that swiftly navigates through the void with footwork rhythms, 808-like basslines, and jungle-infused interludes. File alongside earthquake catalyst DJ Fulltono.

‘Nocto Vea’ is scheduled for release on 16th February via Nehza Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
