Following the release of ‘Novelties E.P.‘ in March, We Play House Recordings line up their next vinyl release, a five track remix EP reimagining tracks from Red D’s recent album ‘Fantasize Then Realize‘.
Released in 2022, Red D now enlists Charles Webster, Kai Alcé, San Soda, Far Out Radio Systems and Kiani & His Legion to hand-pick their top tracks from the album and to inject a remix, making this one hell of addendum to the long-player.
Replete with deep and soulful vibrations, there’s a lot to soak up on this remix package. Our pick is Charles Webster‘s remix – arguably one of the most distinctive producers of the 90s, whose productions were able to sit in the sets of Frankie Knuckles and Terry Francis alike.
For the occasion Webster casts his spell over Red D’s ‘Dust King‘ – increasing the tenacity of the drums and enhancing the deepness of the melody – resulting in a hypnotic rework, piqued for house heads.
