Following up ‘Humble‘ EP from Renée van Trier in February, Swiss label CAF? prepare to release a various artist 12-inch compilation ‘Rave Alert‘.

French and Swiss club-minded zealots unite under the ‘Rave Alert‘ banner with a blend of crepuscular dubstep, mutant grime, leftfield jungle, psy trance, and corroded footwork. Curated by DJ duo Charlotte aux Fretz, the compilation features six highly versatile tracks conducted by post-dubstep torchbearer Beatrice M., Wajang’s founder Amor Satyr, Lia Catreux, Spirit Vortex Club, Israfil and Yolek alongside Freeky.

Our pick from the compilation is ‘Amphibyakusa‘ by Spirit Vortex Club. Mastered by Andre Merlini, the track effortlessly blazes through uncanny visions with a constellation of high-spirited soundscapes evoking a transmorphic pilgrimage through widescreen expanses and dub-infused echoes, climaxing in a whirlpool of breaks.
