Following news of Qilla Records 35-track compilation last month, today we premiere the closing track produced by Siamese Twins co-founder Sunju Hargun.
Featuring both local and international artists, ‘Chakravyūh‘ compilation pays homage to over a decade of Qilla Records pushing India’s burgeoning music culture forward, by providing a compelling patchwork of ambient soundscapes, trance-driven breakbeat and deep techno.
Our pick from the compilation is by Sunju Hargun. Blurring the lines between dark ambient and trance, ‘मूलानि’ features hypnotic tabla drum work interwoven with celestial chants, ultra-filtered synths and space-echoed vocals, resulting in a meditative dancefloor trip delving into the depths of contemporary psychedelia.
