Five years after their inaugural release, Zurich-based imprint Subject To Restrictions prepare to release the four-track ‘Abisso‘ EP – courtesy of Milan-based warlock Tagliabue.
Following previous releases on Glasgow-based label Invisible Inc, Sound Metaphors sublabel’s Bless You and Zurich-based imprint Lustpoderosa among others, ‘Abisso‘ delivers four tracks of psyched-out rituals blown away by the groundbreaking winds of post-Goa trance, caliginous techno and downtempo chuggers.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Abisso‘ – a slo-mo trance prophecy portraying the tantalizing methods of the perfidy water nymphs. The artificial raindrop soundscapes, warped typhoons of basslines, dubbed-out rhythms, celestial synth melodies and obscure trance arpeggios make the soundtrack a surreal reunion for digital healers in bottomless ravines.
