Following the release of his debut Seek EP earlier this summer on Belgian imprint Crossfade Sounds, Portland-based producer Tharn returns with Reach, a sophomore EP that deepens his exploration into vaporous, slow-burning dub techno.
Across three tracks, Tharn funnels misty ambience and weightless rhythms into a sound that feels both introspective and transportive. Whispery vocals circulate between submerged dub chords, creating a distinctly hazy, dream-struck atmosphere.
Rather than seeking momentum or club-driven propulsion, Tharn leans into spaciousness and emotional subtlety, crafting a release designed for those pensive, reflective moments that settle in long after the final echo fades. Reach is an invitation to drift, linger, and dissolve into its soft, enveloping haze.
