Spearheaded by Ukrainian producer Vani Vachi a new imprint emerges out of Berlin. VVREX is a freshly-coined platform dedicated to emotional futurism and genre-resistant tracks.
Rooted in a fluid club language shaped across London, Kyiv and Berlin, the artist’s approach blends steel and silk: dancefloor pressure tempered by emotional nuance. ‘NIGHTSIREN‘ captures this duality in full with a six track-suite of avant-pop heat and underground techno tension, tuned for both the booth and the bloodstream.
Our pick from the release, ‘Coded Flesh‘, is a prime distillation of that duality: a noir-lit rave hymn crafted from bone-dry drum programming, haunted vocal fragments and flickering synths that glisten like oil on asphalt. As tension coils and snaps, the voice hovers like a breath on cold glass, half-human, half-machine, narrating a comedown from some distant dystopia. ‘Coded Flesh‘ feels like an invocation, a whispered manifesto that is impossible to ignore.
