Marking their third release, Warsaw-based imprint Mixed Feelings gear up to issue an extended player from label head honcho Jaxe.
Consisting of four tracks, ‘PANTING’ features producers such as Paradoxe Club’s affiliate Zero Crossing Point, Odessa-born now Warsaw-based producer biju, Jaxe and Montreal-based producer xl.iks. This collaborative endeavour brings together a steady roster of bass-heavy architects, deftly weaving through industrial breaks intertwined with the darkest edges of IDM and trance fuelled delirium.
Our pick from this release is ‘Depth Of Involvement‘ from xl.iks emerging as a twisted anthem. Haunting atmospherics ripple through a landscape of FX-drenched rhythms and lo-fi bass, while electrifying whistles, eerily human in their cadence, pierce a computerised haze. It feels like a cyber-baroque marvel dragging the audience into a churning abyss of untamed curiosity.
