Femacosmé line up debut solo album from Rue des Garderies co-producer Sweetzak

Following the acclaimed debut of Rue des Garderies’ collaborative album in 2024 – ranked No. 1 in our Best Albums of the Year for its hauntingly textural take on ambient electronic music – Femacosmé label boss Raphaël Fragil announces the label’s second physical release, the debut solo album from Rue des Garderies co-producer, Sweetzak.

Played on repeat throughout 2024, Rue des Garderies seeped into ears like a fever dream- evoking deep introspection and a sense of enchanted melancholia. Sweetzak’s new album, ‘Intuitive Fields‘, follows in its wake, offering nine dreamlike compositions that navigate the outer edges of ambient music, rich with abstraction and celestial atmosphere.

Crafted like an intimate orchestra, each piece unveils a personal world – shifting landscapes and imagined skies rendered with emotional depth and textural grace. Our standout track from the album is ‘The Centre Of It All‘, a wormhole of introspection that descends into the abyss with hypnotic allure. Drawing on the looping melancholy of William Basinski, it weaves decaying textures into a sonic meditation made for mind expansion.

‘Intuitive Fields’ is scheduled for release on 13th June via Femacosmé. Pre-order the double vinyl edition from Inverted Audio Record Store and digital from Bandcamp.
