Following the screening of Magna Pia’s epic live set, we now switch our attention to Merrin Karras’ equally potent live performance of multicolour arpeggiated synths at the arch 0.2 event, which took place in September 2020 at Prince Charles club in Berlin.
Seamlessly blending live takes on tracks from both his acclaimed albums on A Strangely Isolated Place, as well as specially prepared new material, Berlin-school synth lord Merrin Karras aka Chymera presented a wondrous 39-minute display of synth-work.
If you like what you hear, we suggest checking out Merrin Karras’ track ‘Life on Small Planets‘, which spurred Arch’s first ever compilation featuring music from Johanna Knutsson, Perm & HAL, Inland & John Gürtler, Fred Mann, Jamaica Suk and more.
Stay tuned to watch back more live performances from the arch concert series.
