In a few days, the deep house legend will drop a 6-track volume of reinterpretations of his own contribution to the label’s inaugural outing.
From this collection of smooth classic house pumpers, we picked Satoshi Tomiie‘s regulatory rework – which actually counts as the most techno-ey cut of the pack. Shuffling percussions steal the show to a straightforward bassy 4/4 groove that does the job of heaving the track into dancing motion effortlessly. A no-nonsense, chiselled club delivery from two of the ’90-to-’00s house game’s most beloved figureheads.
