Following their December session with Bell Towers, Felix Dickinson and MoMa Ready, Brooklyn-based party Aionia return to H0l0 on Saturday 17 January with the latest edition of Kein Klub – an all-night, two-room takeover running 10PM–6AM.
Kein Klub is billed as Aionia’s after-hours world: raw, groovy and off-centre, driven by selectors rather than celebrity DJ culture. No phones, no flash and no headline worship – just a dark room, serious sound and carefully-curated artists who rarely perform in the US.
A cult figure among heads worldwide, Intergalactic Gary – aka Dutch DJ John Scheffer – is revered for his deep-dive, genre-spanning sets that glide across italo, electro, wave and leftfield machine music with effortless intuition. A longtime affiliate of I-F and The Parallax Corporation, his US appearances remain few and far between, making this an unmissable opportunity to hear a true underground craftsman at work.
Privacy – the Australian-born producer and DJ occupies a thrillingly murky intersection between gritty electro, mutant techno and raw hardware funk. His releases on Valcrond Video, Klasse Wrecks, Cultivated Electronics and Lobster Theremin show a refusal to settle into easy categorisation – favouring shadowy atmospheres, rough-edged rhythms and dancefloor tension. Expect sleek but feral energy.
Brussels-based DC Salas brings a broad-minded take on club music – weaving together house, techno, new beat, italo and trance into fluid, high-energy journeys designed for dancers rather than algorithms. With releases on Live At Robert Johnson, Pets Recordings, Futureboogie and Jen Cardini’s excellent label Correspondant, his sets balance emotion with propulsion, always pushing forward.
With deep musical roots that began on the violin two decades ago, US-based Beartrax has developed a melodic yet club-ready sound that has earned support from respected DJs across the electronic spectrum. His productions move between introspection and momentum – pointing to a producer still expanding his sonic universe.
In a city where many clubs still wrap up at 4AM, Kein Klub runs late – all the way to 6AM – giving selectors space to stretch, evolve and surprise. Across two rooms, guests are invited to lose themselves in sound rather than document it: no photos, no videos – just the dancefloor.
Kein Klub continues Aionia’s mission to champion discovery over repetition, bringing rare, thoughtful selectors to New York in an atmosphere tuned for listening, movement and connection.
