cv313 releases first new material of 2022 ‘Depths of Perception : Submerging Waves’

American dub techno producer Stephen Hitchell has released his first new material of the year as cv313.

Alongside Hitchell’s many solo production monikers, including Intrusion, Phase90, Soultek and Variant – cv313’s signature sound has been a blueprint for the genre for years and is created using vintage hardware. Hitchell also runs the record label Echospace Detroit, which is arguably essential to developing the dub techno sound that we admire, outside of the Germanic labels of Basic Channel and Maurizio.

With each track spanning over an hour of music, Hitchell describes ‘Depths of Perception : Submerging Waves‘ as “a mind-altering third dimension of sound captured from somewhere in the ether…this is truly time-suspended future-dub from another plane of existence: prepare to drift to someplace else.”

‘Depths of Perception : Submerging Waves’ is out now via Echospace Detroit. Order a copy from Bandcamp
