Long shrouded in myth, cv313’s debut album ‘Dimensional Space‘ has been remastered and repressed as a 3×12″ crystal-clear vinyl edition, with artwork and design by House of Traps, now available to pre-order from Inverted Audio Record Store.
So the story goes: between 1996 and 2010, cv313 recorded the original masters for what would become ‘Dimensional Space’. But disaster struck when a flood tore through Stephen Hitchell’s studio, submerging the recordings underwater. Many were lost forever. The few that survived were painstakingly salvaged, restored, and reshaped into ‘Dimensional Space’ – an album that has since become a cornerstone of dub techno.
Spanning six expansive tracks, the album drifts through deep low end and vaulted reverb, creating a nebulous sound world intended for meditation, healing, and deep listening – an immersive document of Stephen Hitchell’s vision as cv313.
