The latest episode of our sister mix series Newtype Rhythms features a terrific thumper of a mix, courtesy of NYC-based upstart Drummy.
After releasing a flurry of singles and an EP for the burgeoning Sorry Records imprint, Drummy pulls out all the stops for his exuberant new four-tracker for Kindergarten Records, entitled Double Stop.
Focusing on the withstanding see-saw between darker-edge dancefloor energies and maximalist percussive bombast, ‘Double Stop’ is a master-stroke of an EP that spotlights the highly-capable sonic dexterity of this ascending artist.
