Following a slew of digital singles and an online-only collection of archival tracks, Florida-based producer Hunter P. Thompson aka Akasha System, DJ Panthr, Opaline lines up his first physical release as DSV, resulting in a four-track cassette ‘Peace Filter‘ through his own label Infinity.Trax.
Thompson explores the varied niche sounds of electronica across several aliases. In 2023 alone he released LPs as Akasha System and DJ Panthr. DSV utilises breaks and jungle aesthetics reflected through Thompson’s signature warm, sun-soaked synths and percussion. The brief but engrossing release is highlighted by the opening title track, which boasts hypnotic beats paired with lysergic, swirling synths.
