On Sunday 27 February, SODAA take over IKLECTIK in London to host a discussion on documenting subcultures with respected music journalist Emma Warren and ‘Rave Trilogy‘ video artist Rebecca Salvadori.
The talk, moderated by Anjali Prashar-Savoie, will focus on grassroots movements and spaces, online lore and good practices to document subcultures and rituals of nightlife. The event is part of the SODAA Mixer event series, where collective members, invited speakers, and more meet up to listen, chat, and perform.
SODAA is a Self Organised, Decentralised Association of Artists, musicians, DJs, producers, coders, promoters, and more. Operating in London and worldwide via their Discord server, they are a not-for-profit organisation working to design a new model for a community-operated music and arts venue in London.
