Laurel Halo has joined forces with Bristol-based producer Hodge to release a three track extended player at the end of November via Livity Sound.
Hailing from opposite sides of the Atlantic but sharing a similarly adventurous musical outlook, Hodge and Laurel Halo are both known for their bold experimentalism. ‘Tru / Opal / The Light Within You‘ EP was crafted during a series of recording sessions in Berlin and is said to “burn with the energy and dynamics that their respective DJ sets are known for”.
Fresh from her recent mini-LP ‘Raw Silk Uncut Wood‘ on Latency, Halo’s latest release will see her focus directly on the dance floor, eschewing vocals that marked her earlier work.
