Between running Spontaneous Affinity – a monthly mix/interview, occasional event series, magazine and much more – and juggling a burgeoning DJ career, it can already be a bit dicey in terms of finding time to do mixes.
But leave it to Lychee to bust up the odds, piling up incredible guest mix honours over the last couple of years. After amassing acclaim through their iconic mixes for the likes of Daisychain, Honey Soundsystem, Mysteries Of The Deep and beyond, they stop by Newtype Rhythms with a fire starter of a contribution, engaging the synapses from the moment they press play until the last beat is dropped.
While they are known for their methodical and hypnotic approach to blends and selections, this time Lychee flips the script and delves into the best and brightest of hyperkinetic beat science for their endowment to the series – and we are beyond thrilled to share this pulse-pounding journey with all of you.
