Nathan Fake lines up ‘Blizzards’ LP on Cambria Instruments

Nathan Fake will release his fifth long player ‘Blizzards‘ in April, through his and Wesley Matsell’s imprint Cambria Instruments.

The album is said to collate 11 turbulent tracks recorded in a single take using a deliberately restricted setup, further cementing the UK producers deft touch with raw hardware. ‘Blizzards‘ also marks a “nod to the tumultuousness of British politics”.

Perhaps best known for his early output on James Holden’s imprint Border Community, Nathan Fake rose to prominence in 2006 with his debut ‘Drowning In A Sea Of Love LP‘, an album that has since become a timeless staple in the realms of leftfield electronica and post-KLF trancey ambient.

To celebrate the release, Nathan Fake will embark on a 5-month UK and EU tour, commencing on 22 March at Berghain, Fake will also perform in Barcelona, Norwich, Milan, Bruges, Rome, Leeds, Manchester, Brighton and many more.

‘Blizzards’ is scheduled for release 3 April 2020 via Cambria Instruments. Album artwork by 555-5555. Photo by Laura Lewis. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
