Celebrating its sixth release, the Italian imprint Sequenzial Shift line up four stratospheric disclosures – courtesy of Rome-based producer Alessandro Salvatori, better known as Alex Dolby.
After establishing Affekt Recordings in 2012 and several releases on Global Underground’s sublabel GU Music, Mantra Vibes and Intacto Records, ‘RAL Series 1.1′ transports the listeners to a hi-fi dark room packed with sinusoidal dub techno, mind-bending experimental and kosmische sound design.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Jungle Experience‘ – a steamy boscage anthem for odd-shaped firefly deities. With a thoughtful return to ancestral dance grounds, Alex Dolby creates spell-binding frequencies that evoke marshland soundscapes, ceremonial drumming, and twilight textures.
