Premiere: Azo – Astroculture (Maruwa Remix)

Following releases from Augsburg-based producer Raphael Schön, Club Designs mastermind Garneau and Duo Paradiso, German imprint SNC Recs return with the mental fitness ‘Astroculture‘ EP – courtesy of Brussels-based relentless DJ and producer Azo.

In the wake of appearances on the French record label Biologic, Astropolis and Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant and, ‘Astroculture‘ land on a crystal planet jam-packed with Chiberia acid house, blood-tingling trance and boundary-pushing rave melodies- complete with a top-notch remix conducted by Frankfurt-based sensation Maria Believskaya, better known as Maruwa.

Our pick from the premiere is ‘Astroculture‘ reinterpreted by Maruwa – thanks to its discerning trance gaze that makes you believe in any divination technique you come across. With a Goa-infused introduction, Maruwa gradually switches into melodic house aesthetics with a high dose of dolphin chants, powerhouse rhythms, peak-time synthesizers, and acid basslines.

‘Astroculture’ EP is scheduled for release on 8th December via SNC Recs. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
