Premiere: BB. angel – carbon

Succeeding the ‘Concrete Matters’ release from Gaspero in December 2023, Paris-based imprint 39 Records return with the four-track ‘Carbon‘ EP – courtesy of Berlin-based sensation Vlad Kistner, better known as BB. angel.

Born and raised in Yekaterinburg, the icy metropolis encircled by the Ural mountains, Vladislav Kistner has left behind his pop songwriting career and has taken on the sonic aesthetic of Berlin. His debut effort ‘Carbon‘, a four-track experience created for dilated spirits, delivers a mind-bending experience on the shores of Kazantypskyi Nature Reserve.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Carbon‘ – a cutting-edge trance dance suitable for subtropical freaks. With its celestial signals, pumping drum pads, psy-trance arpeggios and acid mermaid melodies, it’s a call to dive into these ethereal waters.

‘Carbon’ is scheduled for release on 16th February via 39 Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
