After more than a decade of releases, Manchester-based producing duo Bondax composed of George Townsend and Adam Kaye prepare to release the eight-track ‘Journey‘ LP – their first-ever vinyl release due out on Sean Brosnan’s imprint Future Disco.
Spread across eight tracks, ‘Journey‘ chronicles an unpredictable chapter in one’s life triggered by an overnight success. For this occasion, Bondax gathered six producers such as Razor-N-Tape label head honcho JKriv, Kareem Ali or Athlete Whippet to revisit six singles from the upcoming album.
Our pick for the premiere is Tucson-based producer Kareem Ali‘s interpretation of ‘Journey‘ – a soulful house affair sparked by meditative synthesizers, powerhouse rhythms, Mysie’s vocal reflections and fountains of guitar licks . In this instant classic, the boundary-pushing professor illuminates the crowd with a giant silver globe.
