DÔME are back with the third instalment of their VA series. The label, which is run by the team behind Astropolis Festival, have compiled a release featuring artists from the Brittany region in the west of France.
Fresh off the back of an EP for Feel My Bicep, Fasme delivers an emotionally charged cowbell slammer called ‘Ça Groove’. Evenn’s skitting and sinister ‘E.S.TRAX’ also does the damage, while DJ Padset unleashes crunchy acid on ‘Mischief’, the release’s closing track.
Our pick is perhaps the stylistic outlier of the bunch, the UK-influenced stylings of Carlton. On ‘AM1’, the Brest native keeps things stripped back and bass-heavy with a track that draws clear inspiration from labels such as Livity Sound and Timedance.
