Premiere: Daniel Weil & Lucapulco -
Cactus Walk

Five years after their inaugural release ‘Wild Intentions’ EP from Durango 95, Mexican imprint Discos Tabú prepare to release ‘The Cactus Soundtrack‘ EP – courtesy of Paris-based producing duo Daniel Weil & Lucapulco.

Highly attracted by the idea of talking to a spiky cactus in the middle of the Sonora desert in Mexico, Motordiscs imprint’s founder Daniel Weil and Lucapulco team up for three arid tracks ranging from balearic ballads, laidback trance and modern disco jams.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Cactus Walk‘ – a pedestrian dream exquisitely crafted for troubled insomniacs. With its good dose of rattles and percussions at the beginning, along with heaven-like synths and no man’s land guitar riffs, make this an absolute balearic treasure you could certainly hear at Pikes Ibiza.

‘The Cactus Soundtrack’ is scheduled for release on 19th January on Discos Tabú. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
