Paris-based record label Nehza return with their fifth various artist compilation, enlisting forward-thinking producers to craft a maelstrom of sounds.
Boasting a heavyweight lineup of artists pushing the boundaries of machine-driven mayhem, this collection of cutting-edge ultrasounds delivers a high-octane fusion of Chicago juke, mutant breaks, dark techno, UK bass and modern dembow. Contributors to ‘Transaere‘ include South London’s Bluetoof, Brothers From Different Mothers’ affiliate De Grandi, Montpellier-based producer Cardozo and Favela funk powerhouse K-OH, each bringing their distinct arsenal to the table.
For the occasion, we’ve selected ‘Heavy Breathing‘ by DJ Spit as our pick. Clocking in at four minutes, the Berlin-based producer unleashes a relentless techno-trance frenzy, combining psyched-out oscillations with echo-drenched frequencies. The track’s rapid-fire kick drums and razor-sharp snares dissolve into low gravity basslines, while mid-track syncopations erupt into chaotic, rhythm-shifting breakdowns.
