Premiere: Elsa – Bubbles

Elsa is an emerging artist from Switzerland. Hailing from Basel, she’s on the cusp of releasing her debut extended player. Replete with buoyant electronics and breakbeat trips, it’s a promising debut from the artist.

The release arrives on SchanzeAcht, an imprint that she co-founded together with like-minded friends. It’s their second outing and follows up an EP from fellow crew member Osiris, which explored similarly breezy dancefloor cuts.

With glossy pads and highly polished production, our pick is ‘Bubbles’. During the production process, Elsa also wrote two different basslines. Unable to decide on just one, she ended up using them both on the final track, a balancing act that ultimately paid off.

‘ESC’ is scheduled for release 9 April via SchanzeAcht. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
