Premiere: Ement – Missing Person

Lithuania’s PZ Records line up their debut album release from label co-founder Ement. While the Kaunas-based artist has previously released music as a part of the MATERIÁ series run by whypeopledance, this new release provides a much more comprehensive introduction to his sound.

In addition to their first release, PZ Records have also just begun a monthly residency on Radio Vilnius. On the show, Ement, Mantas T and Gvidas will be airing forthcoming tracks from the label and associated projects, unreleased tracks from friends as well and other recent favourites.

Across the eight tracks on ‘Metatone’, Ement blends techno, electro and EBM. The result is a tough club-ready sound that’s sure to please fans of any of the aforementioned genres. Our pick from the LP is ‘Missing Person’, a woozy slow-mo chugger that closes out the release.

‘Metatone’ is scheduled for release 24 September via PZ Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
