Premiere: Italo Brutalo – Free To Move

Following up the release of his debut album ‘Heartware‘ in 2022, Berlin-based record label Bungalo Disco prepare to issue the sophomore full-length from vintage synth aficionado Vincent Fries aka Italo Brutalo.

Second Horizon‘ is a twelve-track ode to 80s-inspired Italo-Disco, synth-driven EBM and darkwave electro as Italo Brutalo masterfully blends an array of drum machines, analog synthesizers, and vocoders to create a sleek and robotic soundscape.

Our pick from the album is ‘Free To Move‘ – a low slung and spaced-out track that blends synth-disco with a swirling, delay-soaked arpeggios and punchy TR-303 hi-hats and drum hits before unfolding into a tapestry of acid synths and saturated vocoder vocals.

‘Second Horizon‘ is scheduled for release 29th May via Bungalo Disco. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
