On 5th May Spanish techno producer Jose Cabrera aka J.C. will drop his first release of the year in the form of a heady extended player enveloping dub techno, breakbeat and power-house jungle. The record is scheduled to drop via his own Cabrera imprint.
Ahead of the release of ‘Vertigo‘ EP, we are delighted to premiere our favourite cut from the package, ‘Nyame’ – a deep hypnotic breakbeat roller that unravels a lush, vaporous atmosphere through spaced-out pads and tickling jungle breaks, relaxed and tense in equal measure.
Set to guide submissive dancefloors into wistful dreamlands, it triggers all the right spots. If you’re a fan of The Prodigy’s all-time classic ‘The Fat Of The Land‘ and its offsprings, then this track should rekindle some distant memories without tracing too thick a line. Vibes aplenty.
