Premiere: James Booth – O.I.L

A couple of months ago we were proud to share with you a first extract off James Booth’s top-notch EP for the ever consistent Church. Today the lush and rousing ‘Silver Blaze‘ – bright as iron reflecting under the red hot sun, finds an equally convincing follow-up in the Berlin-based producer’s opening release for the newborn Share XL.

Our pick, the EP’s balmy third track ‘O.I.L‘, is a peaceful wayfaring through an idyllic coastline. Meshing a softly bouncing bass line backwashing in subtle eddies with lavish zero-G pads fluttering languidly in the warmth of a summery airflow, Booth rolls out a proper playa-time chiller. Forget the cold and dip your toes in the aqua blue. Smooth as it gets.

Share XL is out now, order a copy from Bandcamp. First 50 orders come with cassette and A3 artwork print, shipping early 2017.
