Swiss record label Creaked line up a 20-track compilation named ‘Music Falls into a Mysterious Void‘ featuring music from Ikonika, Galtier, Owelle, Hrdvsion and many more.
‘Music Falls into a Mysterious Void’ features a fusion of 10 original cuts and an exclusive remix collection dedicated to the label’s archives. Bringing together all these producers, the compilation explores Creaked’s sonic aesthetics blending avant-garde electronics with experimental textures, fragments of deviant amapiano and obscure breaks.
Our pick from the compilation is ‘Variation E‘ by Julien Aubert. Within moments, listeners are transported into a decaying civilisation and a roller coaster of hi-hats before merging into a polyrhythmic tornado and trippy brass textures, culminating in an evaporating maelstrom of ultra-psyched effects.
