London-based imprint Fragment On Machines prepare to release ‘Len Sen‘, the latest offering from label boss Rupert Galea, aka Jung Latch.
Marking his third solo expedition on the label, Latch sculpts five compositions that straddle the line between futurism and club-fuelled propulsion. ‘Len Sen‘ unfurls as a hypermodern tapestry of Braindance, bass-weighted breaks and experimental dubstep, plunging listeners into a lucid dreamstate. Modular murmurs flicker through the circuitry, twisting a glitched soundscape.
Our pick from the release, ‘Tensa Violet‘, spirals into Latch’s mechanical delirium. A semi-metallic thrum of disrupted transmissions and celestial harmonics sets the stage, luring the audience into a labyrinth of ghostly resonances and drone-infused echoes. Stretched-out pulses conjures up a polyphony of shape-shifting oscillations – bubbling synths, punctuated by the skeletal remains of filtered breaks.
‘Len Sen‘ is scheduled for release 21st February via Fragment On Machines. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
